Yacht Electronics & Marine Navigation Systems

Next-Generation Technology for the Modern Helm.

Navigating today’s waters requires more than just a chartplotter; it requires a fully integrated “digital backbone.” Our yacht services team specializes in custom electronics refits, seamless NMEA 2000 networking, and the latest satellite communication solutions. Whether you are outfitting a new build or performing a complete helm upgrade, we deliver the precision and reliability demanded by the world’s most sophisticated vessels.

  • Full Helm Refits: Modernizing older dashboards with custom-cut acrylic or carbon fiber panels and Flush-Mount 4K displays.

  • Advanced Navigation Suites: Installation of Multifunction Displays (MFDs), solid-state Doppler radar, and high-frequency CHIRP sonar.

  • Satellite & Connectivity: High-speed internet integration via Starlink Marine and KVH systems for global roaming and streaming.

  • Autopilot & Stabilization: Integration of smart self-steering systems and stabilizer controls (Seakeeper/Humphree) for ultimate comfort.

We partner with the world’s most trusted marine technology manufacturers to provide a tailored experience:

  • Garmin: Known for the most intuitive user interfaces, featuring the 4K GPSMAP 9000 series and LiveScope sonar.

  • Raymarine: Leaders in Augmented Reality (ClearCruise) and high-performance Axiom displays.

  • Simrad & B&G: The professional’s choice for powerboats and racing yachts, offering superior HALO Radar and NSO navigation systems.

  • Furuno: Commercial-grade reliability for long-range cruisers and serious sportfishers.

FAQ

ask us
anything

Can I mix different brands like Garmin and Raymarine on my boat?

Yes, thanks to NMEA 2000 (N2K) and NMEA 0183 standards, basic data like GPS position, wind, and depth can be shared between brands. However, proprietary features like Radar, Sonar, and Autopilot controls typically require you to stay within the same ecosystem (e.g., all Simrad or all Garmin) for full functionality.

Unlike traditional magnetron radars, Solid-State Radar (like Simrad HALO or Garmin GMR Fanton) requires no warm-up time and is much safer regarding radiation. Doppler technology instantly color-codes moving targets red for incoming threats and green for retreating vessels dramatically increasing safety in high-traffic South Florida inlets.

They serve different purposes. Starlink provides high-speed, low-latency internet for streaming and remote work, whereas KVH is specialized for live Satellite TV broadcasts. In 2026, many yachts are opting for Starlink as their primary data source and using it to stream IPTV, replacing bulky domes with compact Starlink panels.

Beyond a primary chartplotter, we recommend three essentials for local waters:

  1. AIS Transceiver: Crucial for visibility in high-traffic commercial zones like Port Everglades and Miami.

  2. Solid-State Radar: For safe navigation through sudden afternoon thunderstorms and night docking.

  3. Starlink Marine: To maintain high-speed connectivity for remote work or crew entertainment while offshore.
